Super diner in the heart of Oceanside in Southern California. I hade the Spinach delight scramble and it was very tasty! The eggs weren't dry for once and I was pleasantly surprised. It could get busy depending on time of day but it wasn't too bad when I got there. A Nice waitresses and a very... interesting atmosphere but nonetheless very American and patriotic vibes here. Super cute diner I would come back for the simples for sure!

So, it was Frankie's birthday on Wednesday and he chose to go here to Marys for his first meal at 58 I had never been. Parking can be a bear around here so we really lucked out that we were able to park directly in front of the restaurant! When we arrived we were greeted by Lynette... told us to sit wherever we'd like. They were about to close in 30 minutes, so it was not busy. I let her know that it was his birthday and my first visit here. He ordered his chicken fried steak breakfast and I had the ground beef patty breakfast. I was curious about their homemade gravy, and she was kind enough to give me a sample side of it to try, super delicious! And right before our food arrived, they came over with one of their Delicious giant homemade cinnamon rolls with a candle in the middle singing happy birthday to him! That was very special of them...greatly appreciated!...The other waitress Kallie ... even came over to chat and offered us some of her Chapulines from a friends recent trip to Oaxaca... so it was cool to try some out, totally unexpected and kind of her! Anyways, very friendly and customer/family oriented place. Food came quickly. It was hot and yummy, couldn't believe how perfect the hashbrowns and eggs were!..I had a hard time, deciding between home, fries or hashbrowns, and she allowed me to get half-and-half... definitely ALL hash-browns Next time ...home fries were good, but hashbrowns were amazing!... bummer that they close by 1:30 PM. But they are offering tacos on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with homemade salsas and different meats to choose from. $3 each ...definitely will have to come try those on another time.. all in all a great experience left there with two full bellies and leftovers... see you soon Marys! :-)

Excellent local diner in the middle of Oceanside! We found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Service was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely visit Mary's on our next visit to the beach.

We came for breakfast and it was so amazing that we came back the next two days of our vacation. Being Mexican I have a high standard when it comes to beans, potatoes, carne asada and most of all salsa. It was delicious! Highly recommend this place! Staff was amazing as well!

Mary's continues to be my favorite place to start the day when I'm in Oceanside. Food and service are very good. It's typical diner fare, but done well and portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Don't miss it!

Love this place. Great options and the staff is wonderful. This place is an old gem, great for breakfast. Highly recommend the chilaquiles and Kitchen Sink. My husband usually gets Tyler's special.

Mary's is a family-friendly style diner. Food portions are giant. The servers are very nice. They make you feel welcome. I plan on returning when I'm back in town.

Simply amazing. Price, hospitality, and food were top notch. Coffee was about the best I have had, and everyone makes the Monte Cristo a little different, and Mary's was spectacular. Our hostess and waitress were so friendly, they made us first timers feel like regulars. We are already thinking of coming back another time and trying lunch.

Great food! Diner style and their breakfast burritos are excellent!! They also have a giant cinnamon bun! Both were very tasty and very generous with the serving size. Service was excellent, very attentive and family oriented. Adventure on my friends!
